At Elkem Carbon Fiskaa, we’ve been driving innovation since 1919, beginning with the invention of the Søderberg electrode. This breakthrough allowed for more efficient and continuous operation of furnaces, laying a foundation for the modern industry.

Today, we use hydropower to produce high-quality carbon products that we ship to a global collection of customers. To minimise our environmental impact, we focus on emission control, energy recovery and PAH-free products. In collaboration with our Global Carbon R&I based at the Fiskaa Industrial Park, we are also developing bio and non-fossil solutions for the future.
